How to Get Ready for Dumpster Delivery

Pick a clear, level spot

Choose a driveway or yard space the truck can reach in a straight shot. Watch for low limbs, power lines, fences and cars. The dumpster rides on rubber wheels and does not need boards, but it still needs room to be set down.

Measure the space

The dumpster is 7 feet wide and 14 feet long. Leave extra room around it so the truck can get in and later haul it off without turning too tight.

Tell us what you are loading

Roofing tear-off, remodel debris, a household cleanout and yard waste are all common. Knowing the job helps us plan weight and whether one dumpster is enough.

Know the timing

Most deliveries are the next day. Same-day is possible if a truck is open, so call early. Rentals start at 2 days, and you can keep it longer if the job runs long.
